Hello! Welcome to my blog! I’m happy to see you there.

 

It’s been already a long time that I wanted to launch my own blog. It took me some time to define on what exactly I wanted to write. And the declic finally came in May 2014 when I started to work for a footwear company. I was suddenly immerged in a brand new world, discovering the fashion and footwear industry from the inside and learning so many things I even didn’t suspect. Slowly, the idea to share my discoveries and learnings developed.

I started to look for testimonies, blogs of fashion experts… I found many fashion bloggers with beautiful design and styles but it wasn’t the orientation I wanted to give to my blog. I’m not a fashionista of that level, even if I do like fashion!

So, instead, I decided to write about my own experience, perception of this sector, my discoveries and to try to make it a sharing and discussion virtual platform, open to anybody interested in the “other face” of the fashion industry, the face that we, simple customers, don’t know and, even, don’t suspect.

 

The fashion world is a mysterious and relatively closed world for non insiders as I am. But it is a fascinating world, far from just being strass and beautiful people on podiums and VIP events.

 

It is a world of professionals trying, everyday, to offer the best and most original product possible and to anticipate future trends.

It is a world dealing daily with CSR issues, implying human and natural energies, all having a strong impact on our environment, on the way we consume, on how we perceive each other and on how we position ourselves in the society.

 

And this is all these aspects I want to cover and to share with you here, alongside with my day-to-day life in the footwear industry, trying to alternate serious contents and funny anecdotes.
